Beautiful Bicol: Bagasbas Beach x Around Daet

Finally set foot in the beautiful Bicol region! *confetti* The beau hails from Daet, Camarines Norte so it's just fitting that the first stop of this whole trip is his hometown~

From Manila, we rode a night bus to Daet via Superlines (Php 720/person), traveled for eight hours, and arrived a little after four o'clock in the morning. We went straight to the beau's family house, which by the way, is up for rent on Airbnb. Here is the link.

This reminds me of the trees with crystals at the Venetian Glass Museum in Hakone~

Beautiful and well-maintained... plus beautiful souls for hosts! What more can you ask for?

After unpacking and some siesta, we visited the beau's family's old prawn hatchery in Mercedes and ate fresh coconuts (buko)! Yummmm!
This is the only decent photo I have because I looove buko so much that I downed mine in a snap! Also, it's so hard to get/eat one in Tokyo so I seized the given chance lol!

We then headed to Bagasbas Beach  which is becoming more famous nowadays. Of course I didn't dare miss it!

Look at that~

Hello from the beau and I ✌︎✌︎

Messy hair don't care heh~

What I did miss though, was getting some Earl's Burger! Next time, maybe~

We then headed home to rest and prep for the beau's birthday dinner. His godmother was kind enough to host it in her gorgeous house yay!

Food! Foooood!

*burp* lol

So yeah, that was my first day in Bicol and I wouldn't want to have it any other way! Tune in for the next part of this Beautiful Bicol series... hint: sun, white sand, blue waters~ *wink*

Hitori de

Hitoride means alone in Nihongo. And yes, I'm alone sitting and at times rolling on this queen-sized bed in my room on a Saturday. I was supposed to meet some high school friends for a drink but I stayed in for the night, instead. So yeah, let the movie marathon begin!

One Day (2011)
"Twenty years. Two people."
The story seemed to me like A Lot Like Love wherein two people meet every year for twenty years to sort of catch up, but this one's a bit tragic. In One Day, Dexter and Em meets every July 15th. They just found themselves in love one day, however, Em dies of an accident. I wonder if I could tolerate that kind of friendship thing for twenty years. Maybe.

Pitch Perfect (2012)
"Get pitch-slapped."
Singers and singers-at-heart might love this movie. It's about Beca, a college freshman and aspiring DJ, joining the all-female a cappella group, Barden Bellas, with some love story on the side courtesy of Jesse, from their rival all-male a cappella group, Barden Treblemakers. Favorite scenes were the riff-off and finals. Of course, I also love how the songs were mashed-up. Not to mention, Beca sang Titanium at the dormitory's communal bathroom!

I would really love to spend my days with someone who can carry a tune and has the same musical inclination as mine.

Tonight You're Mine (2012)
"A single night. A million possibilities. One connection."

Watched this cos of the setting: Coachella. I've always wanted to experience the renowned music festival in Scotland, so I think, watching this film is a good start. It's your typical strangers to lovers story of The Make's Adam and The Dirty Pinks' Morello (blame the handcuffs), with a good soundtrack. Personal favorites are You Instead, Keep Yourself Warm and Dark Energy. And oh, I find Adam charismatic, ha!

I love this scene. I think I'll be happy with someone whom I can sing with.
Ahh I love this scene, too. Adam x Morello.

Same Old Whiskey Morning

Home from Ali's birthday weekend at Northfields (separate entry on this), I'm back to that same old routine of social networking, doodling paisleys and whatnots in my planner-slash-diary, drinking coffee whatever the time is, checking my phone for messages but only replying at times or not at all, daydreaming and wishing I was blah blah blah.

That somehow summarizes my "sembreak", though technically I'm not on a semestral break because I just graduated. (Yey! *insert fireworks here*) And I didn't even bother to look for a job cos my mother wants me to study Nihongo and classes will start tomorrow which explains the "I'm on a sembreak" high I'm having, I guess?

Less than a day before school starts (again) and my to-do list is unaccomplished still. Hello, unproductive life at home. What makes this worse is the alluring alcohol shelf which I see every friggin' time I look out the kitchen window. Geez, temptations.

I am a good girl. I am a good girl. *repeat til fade*

Now Playing: Miranda Albert's Same Old You (where I got the entry title haha)
