Love Drunk

While some people are busy preparing for their V day dates, I am on my way to Los Banos early in the morning just because (1) I need to sing Sulong CAS for clearance, (2) it's the UPLB Feb Fair season, and (3) dinner with blocmates. Whoever said V day isn't for singles, ha! :p To cut the story short, I wasn't able to accomplish number one but my two days in LB turned out way better than expected! These pictures are proof! :)

February 14
Had lunch with Nina at Black & Brew, then met up with brods, Paolo and Ivan. Roamed at the fair grounds until their 2:30pm classes.

Went to Tres (blocmates' apartment) and got surprised!  Thanks, Bea, Claire and Danica for the rose, letter and Kitkat, respectively! I love youuuuu! :*

Went to V Lounge Spa-Scissors Salon with Claire for some pampering. I love salons, I really do. It relaxes me, just like supermarket aisles and good food do.

Had dinner at Joe's with blocmates BCD plus Angelo. Met Joe's owners' adorable kids, Tasha and Alfred. ♥

Went to the Feb Fair grounds after dinner! Oh, UPLB!

Nina and I met up with an old friend at IC's Bar before calling it a night. :)

February 15
These past years, I wanna scrape February 15 off the calendar. Don't ask why. But this time, I'm glad I don't care about that thing of the past anymore. Time heals wounds, indeed. :)

Had dinner with the girls again at Tresto then roamed around Freedom Park for some Feb Fair vibes. I visited the booths of my two orgs and it's always good to see some familiar faces. Also, Silent Sanctuary added some more love in the air. I really liked the fact that they sang two of my favorites, Kundiman and Kismet. :)

It's so humbling and heartwarming to have witnessed love in its many forms the past two days. And though these times I choose to steer away from complicated love issues and have some good time alone, I am love drunk, made possible by the wonderful people I have in my life right now. Thanks for both the big and the little things, you made and continuously make me feel loved. May this sweet hangover never fade, ever.♥

Il Pirata

So second semester is already shedding its last days. Final exams, papers and other last minute requirements are taking its toll on us students. Amidst those, we or should I say I, never really give up on parties from time to time since it's the only thing that's keeping me sane from all of those academic shizz. Since it's March and yeah it's the season of organization induction balls in the state U, I chose to attend our org's induction party, Induction 2012: Cells Ahoy! last Friday at a private resort, despite the exams that are in line for me the week after.

Who would've thought I'll be a pirate for a night? I actually loved how my "costume" turned out given that I've prepared for this one less than a day before the actual event cos I'm still undecided to go. I hope I gave justice to this night's role right as a pirate. Teehee. So here's how my night went! :)

Salvi as Jack Sparrow and Gem as, ughh, pirate? Haha!

Buley, Salvi and Hannah. Batch '10s.

Lineage loves. Inaanaks Buley and Bryan.♥

With the newly-inducted org president, Wilkus as Captain Hook? Haha.

With Guada, another TVD co-fanatic. :)

Second sem buddies. :)

With Yen, my chika buddy. :)

The most decent solo picture I had that night. Hihi. All of these, I got from my closet except the red and black striped top and the boots courtesy of Yuri, another orgmate.

Most of us wore boots. Should I call this night Boot Night instead? :))

Got only a handful of picture cos I left the party a bit earlier than usual. Enjoyed the night, though! Thanks everyone for making my last (hopefully) Cells' induction ball as an undergraduate such a hit! And also, I would like to thank my org inaanaks (godchildren/mentees), Bryan and Buley for their tribute gift and letters! It made me cry and, ughh sniff. Haha! Would write about the tribute gift in another post, prolly a bit later! :)

Til next post!

Friday in Polaroids

Fast forward to Friday, the second to the last day of the UPLB Feb Fair 2012. And yes, I was determined to stay up until I can since some of our acad organization's (UP Cell Biological Society) alumni came over. It's been some kind of a tradition already that they visit us even once a year, minus the org events; just plain and pure fun. :)

And oh, talking of tradition. I managed to get a henna tattoo. I've been getting one since I had my first Feb Fair experience back in 2008. So here's what I got for this fair and hopefully the last one I'll be getting as an undergraduate student. Why wings? Because I am one of the many dreamers who want to fly, literally and figuratively.

I also went to my other org's booth at the fair. I've been a member of the UP Gawad Kalinga-Los Banos, a soci-civic organization, for more than three years now. And not for once did I regret joining and having my hands dirtied from helping in building other people's homes because I know that by doing that, we are also helping them fulfill their dreams.

Tsaraaaaan, our booth at the fair! :)

Can you spot my naaaame? :)

Hi, Kane! :) Just so you know, she's our org president and my batchmate, too! :)

Some of my sisses at UP Gawad Kalinga- Los Banos. :)

.
After spending some time at the Gawad Kalinga booth, I then went back to the UP Cells booth to bond with the alumni and the resident members alike. Our brods serenaded us with a cake in hand as a post Valentine's Day gift. Sweet, eh? ♥ We also watched the local band Mayonnaise and the fireworks display courtesy of Enchanted Kingdom. Fuuuuun Fridaaaaay! :)

UP Cells brods and sisses♥

With Keatre, the one who fondly calls me his "favorite kapatid ever". :)

Hello, Allen and Demy! :)

While waiting for Mayonnaise to come up on stage. Hi, Yen and Bona! :)

The sweetest brods! ♥

Fireworks!

Last but not the least, the pseudo outfit shot! :)
P.S. Sorry for the oily face and crazy hair. Haha.

White sheer top, Never Been Kissed printed shorts, Robinson's Department Store belt,  Tomato dark blue shoulder bag, and Lips necklace from Trendphile Manila.
